My old tank was rusting from the inside out. I ordered this thing on a Wednesday and they shipped this tank in no time! It arrived in my town the following Tuesday as well.
It doesn’t take long to install the tank but you have to move the top insulation gaskets from the old tank as well as the pump assembly and other emissions related hardware, but it was easy to do and easy to install.
The tank is lightweight and works great.
The new tank has been on my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a few months now, works well so far.
But during the installation process, two of the mounting holes did not match up. I had to drill them out to fit the tank in place. I also had to replace the rusty straps and guard plate.
Hopefully now with this tank I will forget about the corrosion and leaking problem.
I ordered a new plastic tank for my Rex from this shop. I didn’t want to put a metal one and I can say that I got a good quality tank at an adequate price. Delivery is a little bit overpriced, but given that the cost of delivery includes cargo insurance, I think it is justified.

My rusty tank was in its last months, welding holes and anti-corrosion treatment did not help. I decided to buy a new plastic tank and had no regrets. Delivery of the tank took 6 days, during installation only changed the main hoses, gaskets and planted on the factory seats. I recommend this store.
Half a year ago I bought a new plastic tank from these guys. Not long ago, I had a little accident on the road and damaged the tank, and gasoline started dripping out of the crack. I wrote to the guys at plasticautotank.com about my problem and sent them a video and pictures of the damaged area in the tank.
With my luck they found a solution to my problem and sent me a free repair kit to seal the crack.
In the repair package I was sent 4 cans of numbered resin and putty + sandpaper + glass cloth.
I received the instructions on my email and within a couple of hours I had the crack in the tank sealed. The next day, when the resin was dry, the tank was installed on its mounts. I am now riding so far with no problems and many thanks for this support personally to Max Kidman the shop manager.

Delivery of the tank was long – 10 days, although it was stated up to 7 days. The mounting of the fuel tank for Pajero is the same as the original tank. All fuel equipment is transferred from the original tank, except for the tubes, which are already on the tank. Overall satisfied with the quality.

I ordered a plastic tank for my Mercedes W463 from this shop, I had to sharpen a little bit with a file in the back of the tank and the tank sat in its place. Cheaper than the original twice. Plus plastic, will not rot, I recommend it.
