Warranty and Statutory Rights

Extended Warranty

We provide an extended warranty of 3 years,
in addition to the statutory warranty rights,
provided that the fuel tank is installed correctly and used under
normal operating conditions.

Statutory Warranty

The statutory warranty period for consumers is
2 years from the date of delivery
and remains unaffected by the extended warranty.

Manufacturer’s Defect

If, after inspection, it is confirmed that the fuel tank has a
manufacturer’s (production) defect,
we will fully cover the cost of returning the fuel tank.

After the defective fuel tank has been received and verified at our facility,
we will refund the full purchase price to the customer
(or, by agreement, offer a replacement product).
In such cases, the customer bears no return shipping costs.

Goods Acceptance and Transport Damage

Important Notice upon Delivery

Please inspect the packaging carefully for any
visible damage before confirming receipt with the courier.

If you have any doubts about the condition of the packaging,
please clearly note on the delivery document:

“PACKAGING DAMAGED”

This note is required to preserve your claims against the transport carrier
in case damage to the fuel tank is discovered after unpacking.

Procedure in Case of Transport Damage

If the fuel tank is damaged, please contact us
immediately after unpacking,
no later than 2–3 days after delivery.

including:

• several clear photos of the damage (e.g. leaks),
• your order number.

Right of Withdrawal

Withdrawal Right

You have the right to withdraw from this contract
within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period shall be 14 days from the day on which you or a third
party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us
(info@plasticautotank.com)
by means of a clear statement (e.g. by email) of your decision to withdraw
from this contract.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notice
of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received
from you, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs resulting
from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered),
without undue delay and no later than 14 days
from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal.

Reimbursement will be made using the same means of payment as used for the original
transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
No fees will be charged for this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back
or you have provided evidence that the goods have been returned,
whichever occurs first.

Return of Goods

• You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than
  14 days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal.
• The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period has expired.
• You bear the direct cost of returning the goods,
  except in cases of confirmed manufacturer’s defects.
• You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods
  resulting from handling other than what is necessary
  to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
